We Are Cardiff documentary

Top hyperlocal blog We Are Cardiff are set to make a documentary about the team's experiences in the city since they started in 2010. Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens is onboard, as are some of their 60 interviewees from the past two years. The project is being crowdfunded so you can donate your pennies here, and don't miss this shoutout for the blog in The Guardian last week. 

Premier League Darts

You can still get tickets for this evening's Premier League Darts event at the Motorpoint Arena. Don't miss some of the world's top players in action as Scotland's Gary Anderson seeks to retain his title, and raise a glass to fellow countryman Jocky Wilson while you're at it. Tickets from £22.75 for the show which starts at 6.30pm.

Cardiff nightlife snapped

Polish photographer and capital resident Maciej Dakowicz reminisces about one of his most famous pictures in this blog post "One Night in Cardiff". Be warned, there is a large cross-dressing gentleman in it. Dakowicz is member of The WideAngle, a worldwide network of 50 photojournalists who contribute to the National Georgaphic, The Guardian, The Boston Globe, and the New York Times.
